Meet Playgroup Captain - Stephanie Forte

Happy Wednesday mommas! Hope you are having a good week and enjoying our cold weather lately to get us in the holiday season! The rest of this month we are going to be introducing the playgroup captains in our village. They are such an important part of what makes us function so well because this group isn't only about working out it's also about spending time with our kids. Having our kids all together every morning and getting to do that craft every week makes for really special memories (and great crafts for family members!). We are starting this week with our longest standing playgroup captain, Stephanie Forte. Stephanie has been a part of FIT4MOM Fayetteville since before her son, Lucas, was even born! She joined back in the Spring of 2014 while she was pregnant with Lucas and has been a core part of this village ever since!

Stephanie has lived in Fayetteville since 2010, she is married to her husband, Joe, and they have one son, Lucas (3). She is a craft pro! She loves all things crafts and is constantly at a craft store in town picking up supplies for her next idea. Not only is she super creative with kid's crafts, she also personalizes shirts, bags, etc, for fun AND sells Lula Roe clothes out of her home! She has a degree in child development and family relations focusing on family studies and a minor in interior design and art. Stephanie always gives 100% to her crafts and playgroups, even when her son Lucas has to miss class she is still there loving on our kids. She has a way of making us feel like all of our kid's artwork and crafts are so important to her. It makes for a really fun playgroup and makes us really treasure the crafts we make with her and our kiddos. Also, she is a ninja with those tiny baby foot prints with the paint. I have never seen a 2 week old's foot print before until I took my youngest up to playgroup and she handled him like a boss and we had a tiny footprint on the paper in no time.

We are so grateful for the commitment from Stephanie to our village and couldn't be where we are without her. She has been working hard for us knocking playgroups and crafts out weekly no matter what schedule we throw at her for the past 2.5 years. We feel really lucky to have her here! She is the Playgroup Leader in Fayetteville so if you are nervous about coming out or staying for "craft", don't be, Stephanie will make you and your little feel right at home! Next playgroup is this Thursday at Lake Rim after class, we are making a Thankful wheel, look forward to seeing you there!

I will continue with more playgroup captain introductions next week! Happy last week before holiday week!
